After some research I think this could be due to two major things: lack of sleep (I’ve been having the worst insomnia which is new bc I have narcolepsy lol) and the huge estrogen drop. Headaches, huge mood swings/suicidal ideation, depressive episode. second month I’m about to finish and had a week or so of veery heavy breakthrough bleeding. Hi, I switched to Slynd from a COC and first month was fab, felt like my skin cleared up etc. Im looking to try a new pill, is Norethindrone anti-androgenic? I couldn't find much on that one/have not heard of it before. Sadly I had to go off it because unfortunately I personally always get the rare side effects of medications. It made me look less bloated because it helps with water retention! But also because of this (it affects the kidneys) I developed constant bladder infections (only 2% of patients have this problem). But because it is anti-androgenic my skin was looking amazing, and I suffered skin problems most of my life. Spotting all the time causes PH balance issues (due to the blood), and therefore caused me to get yeast infections a lot. It was like I got my period twice a month which was super annoying and embarrassing when it came to sex. Interestingly, no mood swings, but my friend who took it had severe mood swings. I took spironolactone which is supposed to be the non-synthetic version of Drospirenone. r/sterilization /r/FAMnNFP /r/Vasectomy/ /r/malecontraception/ Use the filters to see or exclude posts from one category and "All Posts" to return to the original feed.
